Jon & I move from London to Pembrokeshire 5 years ago in search of a new life adventure. We took on Georgian Welsh farm to create a multi-award winning nature led sustainable glamping and camping site. When it came to celebrating our own love commitments there was only one place we wanted to celebrate with our friends and family, and that was the special place we have lovingly created for ourselves and all our guests.
Parking – All vehicles must be parked in the parking area, not in the courtyard. The parking area has a one-way system which is clearly signposted. Please car share wherever possible. Please note the site is a carfree site and cars are not allowed in the meadows.
Fire Precautions – Please make your group aware of fire notices and the location of fire extinguishers etc. The assembly point is in the courtyard.
Dogs – Dogs are welcome on the campsite, but must be kept under control and on a lead at all times on the site. For the wellbeing of other visitors, dogs owners must clear up after their dogs (this doesn’t mean leaving poo bags hanging from the hedges; please use the bins!)
Rubbish and recycling – Recycling facilities are provided throughout the site, please recycle everything possible. Guide notes are provided for the waste types in each bin.
Fires & barbeques – Open fires and barbeques are only permitted in the campsite in fire pits or barbeques which are off the ground and fit for purpose. Fire pits and barbeques can be hired onsite. Disposable barbeques are not allowed (they scorch the ground and create a lot of non-recyclable waste).
Firewood and charcoal – Please don’t gather fire wood from around the site; fallen wood provides nature habitat, and damp or rotting wood burns smokily. Properly seasoned logs are available to buy on site.
Cleaning – Please leave your pitch and all facilities clean & tidy, or additional charges may be incurred. When it’s time to go home, please leave no trace of your stay in the camping fields, so that other people and wildlife can continue to enjoy this unspoilt site
Smoking – No smoking is allowed in communal guest areas. Please put cigarette butts in the bins provided.
We joined a very large group (c120) that had hired the whole site for the weekend to celebrate a friend’s life. It was a perfect weekend curated by Soo and John – we had mixed weather but all of the group were amazingly well catered for from glamping to teepees to those of us in tents in the big field. The facilities were great and very easy, the food laid on either by external caterers through the hosts.
We found that our kids (10,7 and 2) had plenty to entertain themselves on site and then we day tripped to a nearby beach which was convenient and a brilliant family friendly location. I genuinely dislike camping and I had a great weekend! Thanks to Soo and John for a great weekend.
