The venue is located on a historic Estate just 3.5 miles from Newquay in Cornwall. In a beautiful rural setting the site offers 9 yurts for accommodation (plus the possibility of adding extra tented accommodation) with the use of 2 large buildings (one of which provides 7 showers and loos).
Given the festival ‘feel’ of the venue, the site is ideally suited for wedding festivals (AKA wedfests).
The site offers various celebration sites within its 62 acres…in the orchard, and multiple options within the woodlands ….including one site within a mining ‘amphitheatre’.
The site is 10% off-grid with a 10kW solar power plant, solar thermal panels, a biomass burner and spring/bore hole sourced water.
The wedding business provides the accommodation (for over 50 people) and the venue with various terraces and a courtyard.
For marquee hire, catering etc…we offer a preferred suppliers list, carefully selected from the local area.
Charlie purchased the Estate in 2102 and has set about rejuvenating it in a fully sustainable way.
He initially set up a Glamping business on the site and recently started the weddings events business.
His career was in financial services and he has a degree in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Sussex.
Guest should have a careful ‘eye’ on sustainability.
